Glorene Y. Drown, 99, of Prospect, died early Saturday morning May 11, 2013, at the Community Health Care Center in Marion.
She was born Sept. 12, 1913, in Marion, to the late George Washington and Gera (Cowan) Griffiths.
GUY EUGENE GODDARD
Guy Eugene Goddard, 77, of the Magnetic Springs area, died Monday evening, May 6, 2013, at his home surrounded by his loving family.
He was born Dec. 8, 1935, in Putnam County, W. Va., to the late Grant Wesley and Selma Vay (Jividen) Goddard.
ERNEST L. “ERNIE” JACKSON
Ernest L. “Ernie” Jackson, 65, of Marysville, died unexpectedly Saturday evening May 11, 2013, at Memorial Hospital.
He was born Dec. 17, 1947, in Marion, to the late Edgar I. and Leona M. Griffith Jackson.
KENNETH E. JEREW
Kenneth E. Jerew, 89, resident of Byhalia for over 55 years, died Friday morning, May 3, 2013, at the Gables at Green Pastures in Marysville. He was born August 25, 1923, in Marion County, to the late William and Martha Della (Douglas) Jerew.
RONALD L. “JOHNNIE” LONG
Ronald L. “Johnnie” Long, 97, of Prospect, beloved husband of the late Carroll (Dix) Long, died Wednesday, May 1, 2013, at his home.
Born on Nov. 29, 1915, to Harry A. Long and Malinda (Krause) Long, he was a lifelong resident of Marion County.

James L. Carpenter, 87, of Marion, died Wednesday, April 17, 2013, at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Boyd–Born Funeral Home in Marion.
MARLIES ANN BUMGARNER PARIKIAN
Marlies Ann (Bumgarner) Parikian, 54, of Galloway, died Monday, April 15, 2013, at Doctor’s Hospital in Columbus. She was born February 15, 1959, in Richwood to the late Gerald L. and Wanda (Kierstein) Bumgarner.
ROBERT L. PLOTNER
Robert L. Plotner, 90, of Marion, died aay Thursday morning, April 18, 2013, at the Marion General Hospital, following a brief illness.
Robert was born in Marion, on Feb. 17, 1923, the son of the late James R. and Florence (Tallman) Plotner.
JAMES “JIM” R. SCHELLENBERG
James “Jim” R. Schellenberg, 62, of Delaware died unexpectedly on Tuesday, April 16, 2013, at his residence. Jim was born on Sept. 28, 1950, in Compton, Calif., to the late Robert and Jeannette (Rautenkranz) Schellenberg.
