Edna Mae Wilcox

 

Edna Mae Wilcox, age 95 of Richwood, peacefully passed away Wednesday, May 28, 2025 at The Meadows of Marion. Edna was born October 31, 1929 in Allen Center, Union County, Ohio, the daughter of Alex and Ina Lucille (Godfrey) Sours. She received her education in Marion and graduated in the class of 1947 from Harding High School. Later that year she was united in marriage to Robert Lee “Bob” Wilcox on August 16th. Edna’s career began at the Fulfillment Corporation in Marion and continued at Central Soya and Hills Department Store.

Edna was gifted crocheter and seamstress, often making her daughters clothing over the years. She was intrigued with tracing her roots and was fascinated with genealogy. Through her intensive research she learned t…
