Pavilion, clock tower replica tapped for Opera House lot
Following the planned demolition of the Opera House in Richwood, officials are planning to put state capital budget money toward the construction of a pavilion and clock tower replica on the lot.
State Representative Tracy Richardson said that she has worked with the House to get the $150,000 capital grant approved for use in building a pavilion and a 30-foot tower to include the original clock.
The capital budget funds were originally slated for use on the Opera House and had to be reappropriated.
