Richwood Civic Center

By Susie Pfarr, Executive Director

We had the pleasure of attending the Richwood Coffee Beneficiary Awards Breakfast a couple of weeks ago, where we received $2,500 in donations toward the Richwood Civic Center and the programs that we offer. Thank you to all that have bought drinks through the coffee shop. Your donations help with things such as food and personal needs items as well as the activities, education and events that we do here at the center.

We will be offering a two-ribbon Lei Making Class on Wednesday, Sept. 30 at 2 p.m. Please call the office to reserve a spot. The cost for this activity is $7. Next month, we will be doing a four-ribbon Lei Making Class. Then we plan on having some fun with all those Lei’s at a later date.

The Richwood Farmers Market will be open every Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. through Oct. 8 at Richwood Park Shelter House 1. The easiest way to support our activities and events are by buying a drink from Richwood Coffee. We receive 100% of the proceeds.
