Wildcat hoopsters fall to Bishop Ready in opening round tournament action
The game plan set up by North Union went pretty much as scripted in the first half of its Central District Division V sectional final at Bishop Ready on Saturday. That plan was to keep the game at a slow pace, not allowing the Ready to use their athleticism to get into a transition game.
The Wildcats made the plan work and with just under two minutes left in the second quarter were tied with the Silver Knights at 17. But Ready scored the final six points of the quarter, carried that momentum into the third quarter and finished with a 62-43 victory.
