NU hoopers well represented as district teams announced

A quintet of North Union basketball players were recently honored as the The Ohio Prep Sports Media Association announced its Central District basketball teams.

Leading the way was junior Dainon Lindsey, who was named to the boys first team in Division V.

Lindsey averaged 17 points, six rebounds and two assists per game for the Wildcats. Senior Nickolas Hajjar was a third-team selection. He averaged 14 points, two rebounds and two assists per game. Named to the girls Division V second team were sophomore Glory Blevins and senior Kennedy Harrah while junior Gabby Lindsey was honorable mention.

Blevins and Harrah averaged 16 and 14 points per game respectively while earning three steals per contest. Lindsey averaged 11 points per game and also had two steals per game.
