It is given to comparatively few to travel through fifty-five years of wedded life together, but two of Richwood’s residents, Mr. and Mrs. F.A. Martin, celebrated such a happy event Sunday at their home. Mr. and Mrs. Martin were married December 27, 1870 at Mt. Vernon, Ohio. Five years later they came to a farm near Richwood and later moved to the village. They have lived in this community 47 years. Dr. and Mrs. S.J. Bown and Miss Lizzie Martin were guests at the Martin home Sunday.
