Staffing could complicate future county plowing
The area saw its first measurable snowfall Sunday night into Monday morning and Union County Engineer Jeff Stauch said his crews are ready to tackle the winter weather.
While this first round wasn’t a major concern for Stauch’s office, the engineer said he does worry about larger storm events that might happen in the future as the county does not have enough resources for a second shift of plow truck drivers.
