Uncanny village

It’s officially Halloween season in Richwood as houses in the neighborhood are invaded by spine-tingling creatures and lit by erie, purple and red hues. Pictured above, a house in Richwood has become home to a giant spider. Despite a welcome sign, the home pictured below on East Ottawa Street seems to have buried a few too many visitors. Trick or Treat in the village is scheduled to run from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Oct. 31. The Richwood Haunted Trail kicks off at 8 p.m. on Oct. 25 at the Richwood Park after the Skeleton Skedaddle 5k at 6:30 p.m.
