Area man has role in No. 1 U.S. film
Film directors recruit talent from all over the world, but for the recent box office hit “One Battle After Another,” acclaimed director Paul Thomas Anderson chose James Raterman, 60, of Plain City, to star in the movie alongside such talents as Leonardo DiCaprio and Sean Penn.
“When you work for Paul Thomas Anderson and his crew of people… they treat you like you’re a family member and they work really hard, so you want to work just as hard as they do,” Raterman said. “You have to be ready to go though, it’s not something where it’s all fun and games.”
