Magnetic Springs man accused strangling wife
A man from Magnetic Springs has been charged after allegedly strangling his wife in front of his daughter.
The Union County Grand Jury has indicted Eric Alden Jordan, 45, of Magnetic Springs, and charged him with two counts each of strangulation and domestic violence, felonies of the fourth degree carrying a maximum sentence of 18 months in prison each.
According to court documents, on July 19, 2025, the sheriff’s office received a call from a daughter saying that her mother and father, later identified as Jordan, were in an argument.
