North Union year-end surveys give insight into vaping, student issues
North Union’s board of education went through year-end statistics from the 2024-2025 school year, including state testing information and student survey responses, which generated concern over vaping in the district while also bringing into question the accuracy of the survey to some members of the board.
During his annual report, Superintendent Justin Ufferman said that the data came from a mixture of surveys, preliminary state test results, staff data and general information. He said that while it is useful, the data “does not tell the whole story.”
Current enrollment for North Union in the past year was at 1,393 total students, with the sophomore class being the largest and the fourth grade being the smallest. Uffer…
