Auditor to hold event on property tax “crisis”

As property tax reform continues to be a topic of conversation for Ohio residents, several county auditors are offering some insights and information to the public.

Union County Auditor Andrea Weaver shared recently that the County Auditors Association of Ohio (CAAO) is inviting community members to attend an event this week on what they’re calling “Ohio’s property tax crisis.”

“We’ll discuss CAAO’s recommendations for meaningful, lasting reform to ease the burden on Ohioans,” Weaver said on social media. “The CAAO has been advocating for policies to stabilize tax increases for homeowners and businesses.”
