The Pharisburg United Methodist Church turns 150

The Pharisburg United Methodist Church will celebrate its 150th anniversary July 20. The church was dedicated July 4, 1875 on land purchased from Lizzie, Narissa and William Scott and has been of service to many generations in the community over the decades. In 2022, Pharisburg UMC merged with Magnetic Springs UMC – becoming Magnetic Pharisburg UMC. The 10 a.m. service on July 20 will be an anniversary service and the public is invited to attend. The church is located at the corner of Route 4 and 347.
