Union County EMA issues heat wave warning

The Union County Emergency Management Agency (EMA) issued an extreme heat watch warning in the area from Sunday to Wednesday ahead of the first heat wave of the season. During these high heat days, it is recommended that people stay indoors – preferably in A/C – and check on your neighbors who may be affected by the heat. If you must be outside, take frequent breaks and drink lots of water.
