A clapboard, used on film sets to mark scenes and sync sound and picture, shows the name of a feature film being shot in Union and Logan counties. The image was posted on one of writer and director Adam Meeks’ social media accounts in April. Union County, which tells the story of a young man going through a drug court program, is a full-length version of a short film of the same name, which Meeks shot here five years ago. Union County goes Hollywood

Union County is about to become a marquee name. Literally.
Filmmakers are currently in neighboring Logan County shooting a feature film called, oddly enough, Union County, a story about a recovering addict making his way through drug court and trying to get back on his feet. It stars Will Poulter and Noah Centineo. There are also reports some filming could take place in this county.
