Council talks backflow, EPA

Richwood Council further discussed backflow compliance and which related software to purchase.

At the regular meeting of village council on Monday, water and sewer operator Eric Kincaid stepped in for Village Administrator Monte Asher to discuss two different backflow compliance programs that the village is considering for use.

Kincaid said that they looked into the BSI Online software and said that it was alright but that there are a lot of fees attached to it. According to village documents, the BSI Online backflow compliance software is actually $995 plus $25 for every submitted inspection.
