Community members and locals alike packed into the Richwood Municipal Building on Monday for the regular meeting of village council. Community organizations such as the Trailblazers and Richwood Area Business Association (RABA) stood before the board to discuss bringing events to the village. Richwood events in works

Several local Richwood community partners are looking to bring more events to the village in the future.

At the regular meeting of village council on Monday, Carmen Shields, president of the Trailblazers advisory board to the Richwood Park, came before council to discuss throwing a celebration event to kickoff the pickleball courts. Village Administrator Monte Asher said in his report that the pickleball courts would be going in this spring and Shields reported that construction is slated to start this week.
