Sheriff’s Office recieves donation

In January, fourth grade students from Abraham Depp Elementary School (ADES) collected new stuffed animals to donate to the Union County Sheriff’s Office for young children involved in accidents or tragic events.

The initial goal of “Cuddles for Cruisers” was 120 stuffed animals. Students and their families crushed t h i s number by collecting over 190 stuffed animals. On Feb. 21, 2025, ADES’s students packaged the stuffed animals and presented them to School Resource Officer Deputy Ben Smith and Jerome/Millcreek Township Public Safety Officer Matt Bebout of the Union County Sheriff’s Office.
