Penny L. Foreman, 59, of Marion, was cited for failure to maintain an assured clear distance ahead. At 3:05 p.m., Jan. 7, Foreman was driving a 2015 Toyota Prius in the 25000 block of Route 4 when Foreman swerved off the roadway to avoid striking the vehicle in front of them and struck a utility pole. Deputies and units from the Northwestern Joint Fire District and the Ohio State Highway Patrol responded to the property damage crash and a crash report was taken.

Deputies were called to a residence in the 31000 block of Route 31 at 4:23 p.m., Jan. 7, to investigate a report of threatening text messages. As a result of the investigation, deputies arrested a juvenile and charged them with aggravated menacing. The juvenile was transported to the Cen…
