SEPTEMBER 7, 1923

Somewhat out of the ordinary was the Labor Day program offered by Baccarat post American Legion. A large crowd lined the banks of Baccarat Lake in the afternoon to witness the program of aquatic feats performed by a score of expert swimmers from Columbus. The program which comprised of swimming, diving and many novelty acts.

By October 1st, electric light and power service will be furnished Marysville, Milford Center and other points from the Springfield plant of the Springfield Light & Power company recently taken over by the Ohio Edison company it has been announced by C. L. Weaver general manager.
