New engineering pathway lets students design shirts, products

A new addition to the engineering pathway at North Union has allowed students to make custom t-shirts for their peers.
With the beginning of North Union’s 20262027 school year last week, high school principal Keith Conklin gave members of the board of education a tour of the high school and a presentation during the board meeting on Monday.
As part of the new North Union Engineering and Design Shop this year, Conklin said engineering students made custom t-shirts with Wildcat logos that will go to the first 300 students who attend the first football game on Friday. Handouts will start during the tailgate, which begins at 5:30 p.m.
