Power grid project comes with questions

Union County residents have mixed feelings about the proposed transmission line through the western part of the county.

Officials connected to the project said there is also still time for public input.

Several area residents and community members turned out for the first public open house at the Catholic Community Center to learn about the Grid Growth West Transmission Line Thursday. The project includes three proposed electrical lines in Ohio, one of which is a 765-kilovolt (kV) line that will run approximately 35 miles from Clark County to Union County, northwest of Marysville.
