Richwood man charged in alleged drug trafficking
A man from Richwood has been charged in the alleged trafficking of meth, cocaine and drugs containing fentanyl.
The Union County Grand Jury has indicted Christopher James Wayne Cook, 30, of 284 W. Bomford St., and charged him with two felony counts of aggravated trafficking in drugs, one of the third degree and one of the fourth degree; two felony counts of trafficking in a fentanyl-related compound, one of the fourth degree and one of the fifth degree; and one felony count of trafficking in cocaine of the third degree.
According to court documents, on Oct. 15, 2025, Cook trafficked between 3 to 15 grams of meth as well as a substance containing fentanyl in an amount between 1 to 5 grams. He is alleged to have trafficked meth and fe…
