First responders receive awards

This past Presidents Day, members of the Northern Union County Fire and EMS Department and the Richwood Police Department were honored with a recognition dinner by Mt. Carmel Lodge #303, Free and Accepted Masons of Ohio in Richwood.

As part of the lodge’s celebration of America 250, Greg Ballinger, pictured at right, presented a Community Builders award to Lieutenant Justin Baldwin of the Richwood Police Department, pictured above at left, as well as Firefighter Jordan Long of the Northern Union County Fire and EMS Department, pictured above, right.

The awards represent the exceptional devotion to service in the local community. All first responders were thanked for their service and commitment to the community during a dinner enjoyed by all the lodge members.
