From Richwood Division of Police reports:

An officer was sent to the 400 block of Grove Street at 8:26 a.m., March 2, for a report of a suspicious person. No report was taken.

A caller requested police for a civil standby in the 100 block of South Franklin Street at 11:55 a.m., March 2. No report was taken.

Nicholas Steele, 28, of Richwood, was cited for failure to control following a property damage crash in the 20 block of North Franklin Street at 2 p.m., March 2.

While on patrol in the 200 block of Pearl Street at 9:43 p.m., March 2, an officer located a vehicle with its door open. Upon further investigation nothing was found to be out of the ordinary and no report was taken.

A suspicious person was reported in the 100 block of West Bomford Street at 11:04 p.m., March 2.

Jeffrey Schrader, 35, of Richwood, was arrested by the Union County Sheriff’s Office with assistance from an officer in the 30 block of East Bomford Street for an outstanding warrant at 3:23 a.m., March 3. No report was taken.

A caller requested an officer for a civil standby in the 100 block of South Fulton Street at 4:32 p.m., March 3. No report was taken.

Gage Larrick, 28, was cited for improper backing following a property damage crash in the 100 block of South Fulton Street at 7:22 p.m., March 3.

The Northern Union County Fire Department was assisted by an officer on a medical call in the 300 block of North Franklin Street at 4:01 a.m., March 4.

Police responded to an alarm in the 300 block of East Blagrove Street at 7:26 a.m., March 4 and no report was taken.

Caleb Parish, 37, of Richwood, was taken into custody with an active arrest warrant out of Marion County in the 100 block of East Ottawa Street at 8:43 a.m., March 4. He was transferred to a Marion County Sheriff’s Deputy.

In the 100 block of West Bomford Street, an officer responded at 7:48 p.m., March 4, for a person experiencing a mental health crisis. The individual was taken to Memorial Hospital for further treatment.

An officer responded to an alarm in the 20 block of West Ottawa Street at 8:06 a.m., March 5, and no report was taken.

A caller requested police for a civil standby in the 100 block of South Franklin Street at 1:11 p.m., March 5. No report was taken.

Jennifer Jewel, 46, of Richwood, was cited for passing a school bus while it was stopped with the lights activated in the 500 block of North Franklin Street at 3:19 p.m., March 5.

Trespassing was reported in the 200 block of West Bomford Street at 6:32 p.m., March 5, and an officer responded. No report was taken.

Police responded to an alarm on Wood Street at 8:04 p.m., March 5.

A loose dog was reported in the 200 block of South Franklin Street at 10:18 a.m., March 7. Upon police arrival, the owner had already recovered the dog and no report was taken.
