Protect, serve and Lego

The Richwood-North Union Library recently held its “Legos with First Responders” event inviting children of all ages to build with staff members from the Richwood Police Department, Union County Sheriff’s Office and Northern Union County Fire Department. Above, Officer Kirby Brandenburg and Lieutenant Justin Baldwin with the Richwood Police Department are all smiles spending time with local Lego builders during the event held on Dec. 11. The department is still distributing toys as part of its “Stuff A Cruiser” holiday event. Toys can be picked up at the village municipal building until they are all gone. (Photo submitted)
