From Union County Sheriff’s Office reports:

At 4:05 p.m., Jan. 27, a deputy was sent to the 21000 block of Route 47 to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2024 Honda Accord that went off the roadway and struck a ditch. A report was taken.

A deputy was sent to the 23000 block of Route 4 to investigate a hit-skip property damage crash involving a 2002 Toyota Camry and an unknown vehicle that left the scene at 6:52 p.m., Jan. 27. A report was taken.

A deputy was dispatched to a home on East Catherine Street in Magnetic Springs at 8:07 a.m., Jan. 29, to investigate damage to an outbuilding on the property. A report was taken.

Yvonne A. Stayner, 42, of Marion, was cited for failure to control following an injury crash. At 2:21 p.m., Monday, Stayner was driving a 2008 Ford Fusion on Route 739 near Cunningham Arbela Road and lost control, drove off the roadway and struck a tree. A deputy and units from the Southeast Hardin-Northwest Union County Joint Fire District, Northern Union County Fire Department and the Ohio State Highway Patrol responded to the scene and a crash report was taken.

From Ohio State Highway Patrol reports:

Courtney L. Virgin, 33, of Richwood, was cited for failure to control following a property damage crash. At 2:43 p.m., Jan. 27, Virgin was driving a 2004 Ford F-150 northbound on Route 739 when she lost control, crossed the center line, went off road, struck a guardrail, went into a ditch and struck a utility pole.

A trooper responded to Route 739 in Washington Township at 6:18 p.m., Jan. 29, for a property damage crash involving a 2023 Ford F-150 that struck a deer.

At the intersection of Route 739 and Johnson Road on Jan. 30, a trooper responded to a property damage crash between an unknown Toyota and a 2023 Chevrolet Equinox at 3:04 p.m.

A trooper responded to Lunda Road for a property damage crash involving a 2019 Honda Ridgeline that struck a deer while traveling northbound at 6:40 p.m., Jan. 31.

From Marysville Division of Police reports:

Leah Gooden, 42, of Marion, was arrested at 323 Libby Lane in Marion at 8:12 p.m., Jan. 30 and charged with complicity/aiding and abetting another stemming from a theft in the 400 block of Coleman’s Crossing Boulevard at 3:05 p.m., Friday. Police recovered two toy cars and two sets of ear rings as a result of the theft and the case is cleared.

Donnell Higgins, 36, of Marion and Baracca Gooden, 27, of Delaware, were arrested at Walmart, 555 Coleman’s Crossing Blvd. at 8:50 p.m., Jan. 30 and charged with theft. Gooden and Higgins were transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
