Alleged fentanyl trafficker faces felonies
A Marion man has been charged in the alleged trafficking of fentanyl and meth through the county.
The Union County Grand Jury has indicted Jesse Lee Foley, 36, of Marion and charged him with one count each of trafficking in a fentanyl- related compound – a felony of the third degree carrying a maximum sentence of five years in prison – aggravated possession of drugs, aggravated trafficking in drugs and possession of a fentanyl- related compound.
According to court documents, on Feb. 8, 2025, Foley was found in possession and transporting between 5-10 grams of a substance containing fentanyl. Foley is also alleged to have been transporting less than the bulk amount of methamphetamine, which is three grams. Meth is a sched…
