Community Harvest Festival

The Magnetic Pharisburg United Methodist Church will host their annual Community Harvest Festival on Sunday, Oct. 5 beginning at 4 p.m. The event will be held at the Magnetic Springs campus on Olive Street. The public is invited to attend the free fun evening. There will be free food and activities for all! Children can “touch a fire truck and tractor,” enjoy face painting, games, crafts, pumpkin painting and taking pictures at a photo backdrop. Or you can sit around the campfire and talk with friends. Mark your calendar for Oct. 5!

Village updates

Monte Asher, Village Administrator, announced that the Richwood Park restrooms will be closed effective Nov. 1. Port-a-pots are available throughout the park if needed. Asher also mentioned that no brush will be picked up beginning Oct. 31. Staff need to convert the truck to a snow plow for the upcoming winter season. Please be patient during the winter when streets need to be plowed and give trucks plenty of room when traveling on village streets.
