Sheriff’s Report

From Union County Sheriff’s Office reports:

At 1:13 p.m., Aug. 26, a deputy met with a resident from the 11000 block of Boundary Road to investigate identity theft involving a fraudulent loan. A report was taken.

In the 26000 block of Route 739 Aug. 26, a deputy was sent to a home to investigate fraudulent activity on an account at 3:49 p.m. A report was taken.

Deputies assisted the Richwood Police Department with a male that was threatening suicide on Grove Street at 1:53 a.m., Aug. 28 in the village. The Richwood police handled the investigation.

A deputy met with a Delaware County deputy to take custody of James M. Long, 54, of Columbus, on an outstanding arrest warrant. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
