NU to pilot free admission to games for students

A selection of sporting events at North Union will be piloted as free admission for students after a local parent presented the idea to the school board.

At the regular meeting of the board of education on Monday, Bryce Arver, a local parent with children who have and currently attend North Union, came before the board to discuss giving students free admission to sporting events.

This change would aim to knock off the up to $6 cost of admission for students to attend games at North Union. Arver said that the idea came after the Bellefontaine School District made the change.
