Sheriff’s Report
From Union County Sheriff’s Office reports:
Deputies, alone with units from the Northern Union County Fire Department, responded to a residence in the 27000 block of Snediker Road for a vehicle fire involving a Honda Accord on July 21 at 12:46 a.m. No report was taken.
At 9:52 a.m., July 21, deputies were sent to a property in the 19000 block of Route 347 to investigate a trespassing complaint involving unauthorized use of a dumpster. No report was taken.
A deputy spoke with a residence of Main Street in Magentic Springs on July 21 at 10:26 a.m. in reference to a report of fraudulent activity on a credit card account. No report was taken.
On July 21 at 2:30 p.m., a deputy investigated a dispute between father and son that involved a property in the 28000 block of Storms Road. No report was taken.
John D. Deardurff, 45, of Dublin, was taken into custody on July 22 at 5:28 p.m. for an outstanding arrest warrant. A deputy was sent to the Morrow County Jail to transport Deardurff to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
Jason L. Keigley, 54, of Magnetic Springs, was arrested on an outstanding arrest warrant on July 22 at 6:24 p.m. after deputies were sent to the aresidence on May Street in Magentic Springs. He was taken to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
On July 22 at 7:30 p.m., deputies were sent to a residence in the 16000 block of Route 347 to investigate a domestic dispute. No report was taken.
Terrill L. Smith, 42, of Lima, was taken into custody for an outstanding arrest warrant on July 23 at 10:43 a.m. A Union County deputy met with an Allen County Adult Probation Officer to transport Smith to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
Dale M. Butz, 58, of Crooksville, was taken into custody for an outstanding arrest warrant on July 23 at 11:41 a.m. A Union County deputy met with a Marion County deputy to transport him to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
Austin R. Cordle, 23, of Powell, was taken into custody on July 23 at 12:22 p.m. for an outstanding arrest warrant. A Union County deputy went to the Delaware County Jail to transport Cordle to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
On July 23 at 2:18 p.m., a deputy investigated a possible theft of a parcel package that was delivered to a residence in the 20000 block of Route 31. It was determined that another family member had taken receipt of the package, and no report was taken.
Deputies were sent to a residence in the 20000 block of Broadway Road to take possession of a cellphone that was found along the side of the roadway on July 23 at 3:03 p.m. The owner was located, and the phone was returned. No report was taken.
Jamie L. Harrington, 30, of Raymond, was arrested on an outstanding arrest warrant on July 23 at 3:59 p.m. He was then transported to the Marysville Police Department where he was released after posting bond.
Caleb Z. Parish, 38, of Richwood, was arrested on July 23 at 4:29 p.m. after deputies and a Richwood Police Officer went to a business on East Ottawa Street in Richwood to take Parish into custody on a warrant. During the arrest, deputies seized drug paraphernalia that was found in Parish’s belonging and on his person. He was additionally charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and then transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail. A report was taken.
Josiah E. Easley, 20, of Pickerington, was taken into custody on an outstanding arrest warrant on July 23 at 5:34 p.m. after a deputy met with an Ohio State Highway Patrol Trooper. Easley was then transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
Kurt R. Hill, 53, of Marysville, was arrested on July 23 at 5:56 p.m. on an outstanding arrest warrant. Hill was then transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy was sent to Route 4 near Route 347 to investigate a report of debris that came loose from a 2010 Infiniti G37, hit the roadway, bounced up and hit a 2014 Chevrolet Camaro that was following behind, causing damage on July 23 at 7:22 p.m. The parties exchanged information, and no report was taken.
Deputies were sent to a home in the 31000 block of Route 37 to help settle a domestic dispute at 6:55 p.m., July 24. No report was taken.
Christopher N. Brown, 44, of Marysville, was arrested for an outstanding arrest warrant from the Union County Sheriff’s Office following a traffic stop at the intersection of Watkins Road and Watkins Glen Boulevard at 11:43 a.m., July 25. Brown was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
Costin R. Vincent, 20, of Marysville, was arrested on an outstanding warrant in the 15000 block of Valleyview Drive at 5:45 p.m., July 26. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
Brittany M. Baldwin, 34, of Marysville, was taken into custody on Monday at 2:09 p.m. for an outstanding arrest warrant. A Union County deputy met with a Columbus Police Officer to transport Baldwin to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
At 3:06 p.m., Monday, a deputy spoke with a resident in the 13000 block of Route 47 to investigate a dispute between neighbors. No report was taken.
From Marysville Division of Police reports:
Brandon L. Shively, 46, of Raymond, was arrested for driving under the influence on July 23 at 4:20 a.m. after police responded to the 18700 block of Route 31 and Amrine Wood Road on July 22 at 11:41 p.m.
Marlo Montell Byrd Jr., 30, of Leesburg Township, was arrested at 2:38 a.m., Monday, for driving while under the influence, having no license and driving under suspension on Trophy Drive. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
