Fred K. Dix, of Louisville, Ky., formerly of Prospect, has purchased the Prospect Monitor from W. C. Shoemaker and will take possession June first. Mr. Dix is now employed as a linotype operator on a Louisville daily. He started his career as printer on the Prospect Monitor.

Earl Chiesa, of Richwood, and brother, Lewis Chiesa, of Marysville, who have been visiting their mother, Mrs. Carolina Chiesa of Barga, Italy, for the past several months, returned Sunday and report a delightful time with the exception of a two days’ storm on the Atlantic ocean on the return trip.
