Voters pass UCBDD measure by slim margin

The levy for the Union County Board of Developmental Disabilities passed Nov. 5, ensuring funding for the Harold Lewis Center will continue as normal.

Unofficial results from the Union County Board of Elections show the levy passed with 18,132 votes over the 17,574 that were cast against the measure. That comes out to a 50.78% to 49.22% difference.
