NU projects recieve updates

North Union’s Board of Education debated a request to buy a new car for the district’s driver education programming.

At the regular meeting of the board of education on Monday, Superintendent Justin Ufferman gave the board status updates on the driver’s education program, building expansion and the weighted grading scale; all projects that the district has spoken about in the past but have been quietly progressing in the background.

Among the topics of discussion was a request to purchase a new car.

In 2024, North Union partnered with Muskingum Valley Educational Service Center to focus on helping students get their driver’s license through a grant-funded effort. While North Union does not have a…
