Every year after Christmas vacation is over, each boys and girl who received a new doll from Santa wants to show her off. This year, as usual, several brought their dolls to school to show to friends and especially to the teacher. After a day or two of inspecting, the teachers of the six lower grades decided to hold a doll show and invited all the pupils to bring their dolls to school for the big show. The result was amazing. About 450 dolls were displayed. They ranged in size from 8 inches up to 30 inches in height. A rough guess on the cost of all would be about $1,000. The clothes for the dolls were beautiful. Some were dressed in silk and satin, others in cotton. But no matter what the size or how expensive each one was, its little owner thought that they had the most beautiful. The children all enjoyed the display and the teachers responsible are to be complimented for their clever and novel idea.
