Area man faces vehicular homicide charges

A man from West Mansfield has been charged with vehicular homicide in the traffic deaths of two Columbus residents.

The Union County Grand Jury has indicted Kevin Scott Arrowood Jr., 55, of West Mansfield, and charged him with two counts of aggravated vehicular homicide stemming from a crash in June that killed Edeline Sainvil and Reginal Sanon; two 39-year-olds from Columbus.

According to crash reports from the Union County Sheriff’s Office, at 5:35 a.m. on June 6, 2025, Arrowood was driving a 2021 Ford F-150 southbound on Route 31 near Patrick Brush Run Road while a 2011 Hyundai Sonata traveled northbound on Route 31.
