Library open house event set this weekend

The Richwood North Union Public Library is kicking off December with its annual holiday open house. On Saturday, Dec. 6 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., stop in for barbecue, crafts, live music, holiday stories and more. Children can write letters to Santa and personally visit with him between 1:30 p.m. and 3 p.m. Enjoy the “Light up the Library” tree display of nearly sixty decorated Christmas trees set up by various businesses and organizations representing Richwood and Union County. Open house guests can go on the Christmas tree scavenger hunt and match clues to each tree to win a prize. Follow up the fun with the Christmas Parade in downtown Richwood at 4 p.m.
