NU athletes honored with CBC ‘25 football awards

Several Wildcats of North Union’s football team earned Central Buckeye Conference awards for the 2025 fall regular season.
The program placed six players on first team in the Mad River Division.
Senior Griffin Osborne, who was a wide receiver and running back for the Wildcats, joined senior running back Nick VanHoose, senior offensive lineman Landry Dible, senior defensive lineman Gavin Potts, junior defensive back Nickolas Hajjar and junior linebacker Trenor Kyte.
Osborne rushed for 744 yards on 117 carries, caught 34 passes for 387 yards and scored a total of 11 touchdowns. He also was named to second team as a defensive back and return specialist.
VanHoose rushed for 959 yards on 160 carries and got into the end zone 12 times.
Kyte accumulated 78 tackles, including eight for losses, Potts had 66 tackles with 11 for losses and Hajjar had 49 tackles and two interceptions.
Named to the second team were juniors Wyatt Arver, Xavier Gruber and Kaden Riffle and sophomore Broden O’Reilly.
Senior Brock Smith was special mention and senior Ethan Miller earned the sportsmanship award.
