Revenue from solar delayed by one year

Union County will have to wait another year for solar revenue from one of the projects currently online.

At the recent elected officials meeting, Bill Narducci, the county administrator, told the board that revenues will now be coming in 2027, not 2026.

Officials said the revenue from Acciona’s Union Solar project was scheduled to start coming into the various local jurisdictions next year as the solar facility started generating power, but discussions with the company indicate that won’t be the case.
