Townships seek fire levies on Nov. 4

Jerome Township is among several local jurisdictions that will see a fire levy on the upcoming November ballot.

Residents in Jerome Township will vote on a renewal and increase of the current levy. The proposal would raise the existing five-year, 5.8mill levy—which is set to expire at the end of 2025—by an additional 1 mill for a total of 6.8 mills over the next five years.
