From Richwood Division of Police reports:

July 13

An officer responded to the 100 block of West Bomford Street at 10:34 p.m. for a report of someone mowing his yard late at night.

July 14

A loud noise was reported in the 100 block of West Bomford Street at 12:38 a.m. and an officer responded. Upon arrival, nothing could be located.

An open door was located at a business in the 100 block of North Franklin Street at 4:10 p.m. and an officer determined that it was left open by the business owner.

In the 200 block of East Blagrove Street at 6:09 p.m., an officer responded for a domestic dispute and found that it was just a verbal argument and all parties were separated for the night.

July 15

A reported fraud was made in the 20 block of North Franklin Street at 12:21 p.m. and an officer responded, however they discovered that no fraud had taken place.

A false theft report was made in the 300 block of East Blagrove Street at 3:12 p.m. after an officer determined that no theft had taken place.

July 16

Estefany Yamileth was cited for having no driver’s license on East Bomford Street at 2:49 a.m. as the result of a traffic stop.

At the Richwood Park at 11:58 a.m., an officer responded to a report of a suspicious person and an incident report was taken.

Trespassing was reported in the 200 block of Grove Street at 6:46 p.m. and an officer responded. Upon arrival, the officer determined that the person was allowed to be there.

July 17

A resident requested an officer for a civil standby at the police department at 5:41 p.m.

Two loose dogs were reported in the 100 block of Blaine Avenue at 5:43 p.m. and an officer responded. One of the dogs was located and the other dog was not. The owner was identified.

July 18

A loud noise complaint was made to the police for a group of people working on a vehicle at 2:11 a.m.

In the 200 block of Grove Street at 5:18 p.m., an officer responded for a message delivery for another agency.

July 19

Reports of an unknown person dumping poop in the storm drain in the 20 block of West Bomford Street prompted an officer response at 2:01 a.m. Upon arrival, the unknown individual was identified and given a warning.

An unruly juvenile was reported in the 200 block of Pearl Street at 9:43 a.m. and an officer responded.

At the police station, an officer responded for a request for a civil standby at 5:36 p.m.

July 20

Suspicious circumstances were reported on East Bomford Street at 4:32 p.m. and an officer responded.

A resident requested an officer for a civil standby in the 60 block of East Bomford Street at 6:12 p.m.

While on patrol in the 10 block of Beatty Avenue at 6:35 p.m., an officer responded for a reported suspicious vehicle.

July 21

A well-being check was made in the 200 block of East Blagrove Street at 11:49 a.m.

July 23

Suspicious circumstances were investigated by an officer in the 200 block of Grove Street at 7:17 a.m.

July 24

Police responded to a property damage crash on South Franklin Street at East Bomford Street at 1:37 p.m. No injuries were listed.

At the Richwood Park, an officer responded at 5:24 p.m. to a verbal dispute regarding a vehicle.

An animal complaint was made in the 100 block of Beatty Avenue at 8:16 p.m. and an officer responded.

July 25

An individual was reportedly threatening self-harm at a home in the 100 block of West Ottawa Street at 9:33 a.m. Police responded and determined that the person was not a harm to himself.

Justin Blue, 45, of Richwood, was cited for operating a vehicle with a fictitious registration and driving under suspension following a traffic stop on East Ottawa Street at 4:13 p.m.

July 26

Officers responded to alarm in the 70 block of Dudley Circle at 4:16 a.m. and found that it was accidental.

An unknown individual was reportedly walking on a property in the 20 block of West Bomford Street at 10:41 a.m. and an officer responded.

July 27

Telecommunications harassment was reported in the 200 block of North Clinton Street at 3:23 p.m. and an officer was dispatched.

July 28

An officer was dispatched to East Blagrove at North Chillicothe Street for a report of a stop sign that was struck by an unknown vehicle at 9:05 a.m.

Police followed up on a 911 call from the 10 block of Wood Street at 12:33 p.m. that ended up being an accidental call.

In the 500 block of Forest Lane at 7:07 p.m., an officer was dispatched for an unaccompanied juvenile walking in the area. The parents were located and identified.

July 29

Police responded to an accidental alarm at a home in the 100 block of Ira Bean Parkway at 1:46 p.m.

July 30

Trisha Dent, 32, was arrested and charged with assault following a reported fight on East Bomford Street at 3:36 p.m. She was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.

Seerin Mendez, 33, of Middletown, was cited for disorderly conduct and open container following a report of an intoxicated individual on East Bomford Street at 7:06 p.m. He was transported by the Northern Union County Fire Department to Memorial Hospital for medical treatment.

July 31

Officers were requested for separate civil standby’s at the police station and in the 90 block of Lynn Street around 5:30 p.m.

An officer was dispatched to the 40 block of East Bomford Street at 11:05 p.m. for a report of suspicious circumstances.

Aug. 1

Police took a report of a theft that had allegedly occurred on July 2 in the 100 block of South Fulton Street.

Two loose dogs were reported in the 100 block of South Fulton Street at 6:30 p.m. and an officer responded. Both dogs and the owners were located. The officer gave the owners a warning for dogs at large.

Officers followed up on a 911 call from the 200 block of East Ottawa Street at 7:18 p.m. that was later determined to be accidental.

While on station at the police office, an officer took a call in reference to a potential fraud report at 10:33 p.m. The caller detailed that the individuals involved lived at a home in the 300 block of Forest lane. Since the reporting party did not live in Richwood, they were referred to the agency within their jurisdiction.

Aug. 2

In the 100 block of East Blagrove Street at 2:09 p.m., an officer responded to a juvenile complaint.

An officer was requested for a civil standby at the police station at 6:05 p.m.

Aug. 3

The Union County Sheriff’s Office was assisted with a burglary report in the 30000 block of Alder Road at 1:44 a.m.

At 6:10 p.m., an officer was sent to the 200 block of Grove Street for someone burning plastic. Upon arrival, the person was identified and issued a warning for the village burning ordinance.

Aug. 4

In the 20 block of Lynn Street, an officer responded for a theft at 5:33 a.m. that was later determined to have not taken place.

An officer responded to suspicious circumstances on East Bomford Street at 5:16 p.m.

Police assisted the sheriff’s office with a domestic dispute in the 23000 block of Route 4 at 6:10 p.m.

A loose dog was found by an officer at 8:52 p.m. in the 300 block of Grove Street and returned to the owner, who was given a warning for dogs at large.

Aleksander Surella, 38, of Mansfield, was cited for driving with a suspended license following a traffic stop on South Franklin Street at 10:54 p.m.

Aug. 5

Police were sent to the 100 block of West Blagrove Street at 4:55 a.m. for a report of a loose dog. The dog was located and the owner was given a warning for animals at large.

Aug. 6

A neighbor dispute was reported in the 30 block of Tawa Road at 10:18 a.m. and an officer responded.

Raymond Manack, 66, of Marion, was cited for failure to reinstate after license suspension following a traffic stop in the 300 block of East Blagrove Street at 2:32 p.m.

Craig Williams, 48, of Richwood, was cited for driving with a suspended license following a traffic stop in the 200 block of South Franklin Street at 3:23 p.m.

Austin Hart, 32, of LaRue, was cited for driving with a suspended license and taken into custody on an outstanding arrest warrant out of the Union County Sheriff’s Office following a traffic stop on East Bomford Street at 7:43 p.m. Hart was transferred to the custody of a sheriff’s deputy.

In the 32000 block of Water Street at 9 p.m., an officer assisted a deputy with a dispute.

Aug. 7

A well-being check was made at a home in the 200 block of North Franklin Street at 3:07 p.m.

Aug. 8

Police responded to the 300 block of South Franklin Street at 2:52 a.m. for a person who had a question about evicting someone from a home.

An officer responded to the 300 block of North Franklin Street at 3:53 a.m. for a juvenile complaint.

A well-being check was made in the 200 block of North Franklin Street at 10:20 a.m.

At Richwood Summerfest, police took three reports of wallets and a cellphone that were found at the park. The owners of the property were all located and all property was returned.
