Questions remain about York Township biodigester

The biodigester project in York Township is moving along but there may be additional questions about what happens to the gas created by the process when the facility is up and running.

Originally pitched more than a year ago by Vanguard Renewables, a national company based in Massachusetts, the project is working through the early permitting process and not yet under construction, but was approved to move forward late last year. It will be located on nearly 65 acres of land along Route 47, north of Davis Road, near the Logan County line.
