Richwood Civic Center

By Susie Pfarr, Executive Director

Our big trip for the spring of 2027 is Shipshewana, Indiana, on Tuesday, May 18 through Thursday, May 20. An adventure in Amish Country with guided tours. We will be visiting Cook’s Bison Ranch, Shipshewana Trading Place, Menno-Hof museum, Blue Gate Theatre and downtown Shipshewana. The cost is $525 for members and $550 for non-members. A $75 deposit will hold your seat with all monies due March 18, 2027. Watch the November newsletter for some additional trips.

We are still taking names for those seniors that need some extra love this holiday season. Please call the office with their name, age, address and some suggestions to get them on our Christmas Bell Program.

Also, REAP food pantry is doing a Christmas Donation Drive in conjunction with the Richwood Police Department’s Stuff the Trunk and the Family Dollar Store. All gifts will go to those students living in the North Union School District. If you have questions, please contact Amber Boes at 937-209-8823.

Our Member’s Christmas Dinner is scheduled for Tuesday, Dec. 8 at 5 p.m. Please RSVP as space is limited. Easy ways to support our activities and events are by buying a drink from Richwood Coffee. We receive 100% of the proceeds. Our offices will be closed on Wednesday Nov. 11 in observance of Veterans Day.
