County looks to make cybersecurity improvements

Union County is adding another layer of protection to its cybersecurity infrastructure.

The county comm issioners approved a resolution this week for Arctic Wolf, an advanced cybersecurity program that offers protection against cyber threats.

Wade Branstiter, the IT supervisor at the Union County Auditor’s Office, told the board that this program is an all-encompassing solution.

“It should improve our overall cybersecurity posture within the county environment,” he said. Arctic Wolf offers a proactive approach to cybersecurity, according to the company’s website, that mitigates and reduces the impact of breaches as well as helps …
