Dairy Queen ready to reopen after rebuild

The anticipated new Dairy Queen: Grill and Chill is expected to open Wednesday, capping the long-awaited return of the popular Marysville ice cream destination.

Keith Chambers, one of the operators, is excited to bring back the historic Dairy Queen to Marysville.

“This has been a long time coming, timewise,” Chambers said. “This city has been great. Their high standards led to a well-lit city. The Cooper brothers were very well liked in town, and I am just excited to get this going.”

The Cooper brothers he referred to are legendary twins Gary and Lary, and their brother Dal, former owners of Dairy Queen in Marysville. The bri…
