Robert Gene Wiley

 

Robert Gene Wiley, 90 of Richwood, died Wednesday, March 26, 2025 at Heritage of Marysville. He was born July 21, 1934 in Watkins to the late Charles C. and Emma Dell (Clapsaddle) Lingo. On February 20, 1955 he married the former Peggy P. Boyd and she died October 10, 2013. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Jim Wiley.

Gene had worked at Parker Hannifin in Green Camp for 48 years as a Production Manager. He was Past Master of Mt. Carmel #303 Free & Accepted Masons in Richwood. He was a member of Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite, Valley of Columbus, and Aladdin Shriners.

He had a passion for harness racing and was a member of the United States Trotting Association, Richwood Matinee Club, Ohio Harness Horsemen
