Man facing three decades for selling meth near schools

A Toledo man is facing as many as 36 years in prison for allegedly trafficking methamphetamine in the vicinity of two local schools.

The Union County Grand Jury is indicting James Ellsworth Henry III, 39, of Toledo, for two felony counts of aggravated trafficking of drugs of the first degree and two felony counts of aggravated possession of drugs of the second degree.

According to court documents, from Sept. 6 to Sept. 7, 2023, Henry possessed and sold methamphetamine equal to or exceeding “five times the bulk amount but less than fifty times the bulk amount.” Union County Prosecutor Dave Philips said that the offense was allegedly committed in the vicinity of Primrose School of Marysville and Enchanted Care Learning Cen…
