Lady Cat grapplers compete in Triad girls invite

North Union’s girls wrestling program competed in the Triad High School Girls Invitational last weekend.

North Union placed 21st with 29 points.

Indian Lake was the first-place team with 139.5 points.

The Lakers were followed by Benjamin Logan (104) in second and Westerville North (102) in third.

North Union had two placers at the end of the tournament.

Cameron Ludwig (100) and 140-pounder Addison Kirby both went 1-3 on the day before losing their placement matches.

Both Lady Cats took sixth place in their respective weight divisions.

Also competing for the Lady Cats, but not placing, included 105-pounder Olivia Ehrich (0-2), 110-pounder Rylee Horne (2-2), 135-pounder Paisley Jordan (2-2) and 145-pounder Madison Goad (2-2).
